For the fifth year in a row, Buma ROCKS! presents a panel discussion during ESNS. This time we focus on the future of loud music in Europe. Is the scene doing alright? Are we still inspired? Do bands' and audiences' expectations change? We dragged four loud music specialists straight from the trenches to discuss this and more.

Doomstar Bookings (NL)
Luc Favié is owner and agent at Eindhoven (NL) based booking agency Doomstar Bookings, which he runs with Luuk van Gestel. Luc's personal roster consist of bands like: Abbath, Brujeria, Carach Angren, Crippled Black Phoenix, Heilung, Dead Lord and many others. Doomstar Bookings became an official company in early 2009. They are booking shows and tours through all of Europe and in some cases even beyond, for all sorts of (extreme) rock, metal, hardcore, punk, roots and affiliated styles. Over time both the band roster and the booking team have grown a lot and they continue to do so with each passing year. freelance agents operating under this flag, working for 100+ international artists.

Seaside Touring / Wacken Open Air (DE)
As booker for Seaside Touring Jan Quiel is jointly responsible for the lineup of Wacken Open Air and other events produced by ICS Festival Service. In addition he promotes tours of bands like Therapy?, DevilDriver and Helmet in Germany.

Summer Breeze Festival (DE)
Chris 'Jagger' Jäger has been working in the Heavy Metal industry for more than 20 years. Starting off as an editor in chief at a monthly metal magazine, they soon set up a festival. Ever since he has been working with bands and agents. Joining the SUMMER BREEZE Open Air in 2012, he is now responsible for the artist booking as well as managing several projects within the company.

Finnish Metal Events (FI)
Jouni is head promoter & partner at Tuska Open Air Metal & TuskaLive Festival since 1999. He is also CEO & owner of Grey Beard Concerts & Management, home base for several leading finnish bands like Amorphis, Lost Society, Children Of Bodom, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Turisas, Ensiferum, Wintersun and Warmen.
